作品的中文名字容易让人理解为《双恋》的第二季作品，但实际上是另一部重新设定的作品。故事以白钟姊妹作女主角，而在前作中出场的其他双胞胎全部作为配角。作品获得第9回日本文化厅媒体艺术祭审查委员会推荐作品。作品中除第一话外，未有出现片头中女角手持武器的场面。而本作的DVD版与电视播放时的顺序有少许不同。

"Stride," is an extreme sport that involves six people on one team who run relay races through towns.
